Receive and answer phone inquiries, facilitate media interviews, and support senior executives in preparing for interviews.
Produce high quality photojournalistic materials for use in news publications.
The Contractor should anticipate covering 3-5 simultaneous events at various locations and producing 15-20 publication ready photographs daily – digitally edited, color balanced, properly exposed, in focus, with captions, including establishing shots, close-ups, mediums, environmental portraits, lowlight, high-speed, etc.
Produce articles and podcasts for posting on social media sites and the public web.
The Contractor should anticipate producing 5-7 publication ready images and text for social media daily, develop and deliver 3-5 content ideas based on organizational communications objectives each week, and a podcast not to exceed 30 minutes in length 2-3 times per month.
The Contractor must be able to utilize SoundCloud for podcast hosting and when requested pull metrics from the platform on podcast performance.
Provide off-site communications support to GEOINT Symposium, Kalaris Conference, Esri, academic outreach, senior leadership visits, and other events as required.
Maintain a working knowledge of the NGA external publication processes, and effectively navigate external publication requirements including internal review, stakeholder buy-in and public release.
Provide training monthly to government agency communicators based on industry best practices and case study analyses related to the communication tradecraft.
Conceptualize, create and deliver high-impact visual products in support of agency missions, initiative and activities.
Develop engaging graphics that depict complex intelligence problems, to include presentation graphics and infographics for audiences including Congress, the Director of National Intelligence, Department of Defense senior leaders, international partners, NGA leadership and the NGA workforce.
The Contractor should anticipate delivering 3-5 high-impact visual products daily in support of agency missions, initiatives, and activities.
Conceptualize, create and deliver high-impact, social-optimized video products in support of agency missions to include storyboarding, editing, and production for social-optimized and feature-length videos.
The Contractor should anticipate delivering 5-7 high-impact social optimized (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) video products per month in support of agency missions, initiatives, and activities.
Produce publishable news and information products daily with minimal technical and content errors, in accordance with agency guidelines and Associated Press style. Identify content to better reach identified audiences and create and edit error free content for those audiences.
Utilize social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Medium, LinkedIn, YouTube, Flickr, etc.) to provide multiple daily and weekly post for NGA.
Generate and synthesize social media analytics into meaningful and actionable reporting and deliver these to OCC and NGA senior leadership as requested.
Provide recommendations and strategy on evolution of NGA external social and digital media programming based on industry best practices.
Serve as NGA.mil subject matter expert and primary editor by providing daily content updates, ensuring senior leader bios, organizational charts and all relevant agency information is up-to-date, reviewing content, making recommendations for improvement and providing informed analysis of NGA.mil website analytics and performance
Research and deliver daily news clips for posting to agency publications, provide daily summaries of each article in a pdf document to leadership to give leadership brief understanding of the article’s importance, and archive this information in the appropriate file management system.
The contractor should anticipate creating 3-7 relevant news and information articles from news media sources for delivery to agency leadership daily by 6.am. (Note: The COR may authorize working outside established work hours to meet this requirement)
