
• Instruct and maintain the program curriculum related to the Leadership and Supervisory Learning Solutions Programs;
• Provide expertise in NGA Human Development (HD) Policies (online through Blackboard), Performance Management under the DCIPS Process, Supervisory Skills Applied, Situational Leadership, Constructive Conversations, Cognitive Biases, Staff Action Course and Why the NGA Mission
• Provides expertise, guidance, facilitation, and thought leadership to the client and /or project team based on specialized deep expertise in such field as: policy and administration; planning; analysis; training and development; communications; visual design; human capital; business; leadership and management.
• Ensures the appropriate quality characteristics are integrated into products; monitors products and services through the life cycle; validates/verifies adhere to specific requirements through test and measurement of activities; manages/leads quality assurance activities.
• Coordinate and organize pre and/or post-course learning opportunities and events for participants in the supervisory and leadership courses.
• Communicate with agency senior executives to coordinate their participation with students, coordinate with college management and participants in support of formal and informal learning opportunities and events that enhance leadership development of participants in the leadership courses.
• Track and document multiple cohorts of students through a series of activities.
• Provide support for the implementation of training courses;
• Remain knowledgeable of the NGA organizational structure, mission, vision, goals, core values and NGA policy; and have knowledge about the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community structures;
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for curriculum development and curriculum maintenance for the Leadership and Supervisory Learning Solutions Programs;
• Serve as a senior instructor for all Supervisory courses and work to define, develop and instruct relevant course material;
• Stay current and abreast of changing technical and mission requirements across the Agency and where appropriate incorporate these updates into curriculum;
• Provide outstanding customer service stakeholders and customers;
• Execute Pre and Post Course Functions and tasks associated with the Leadership and Supervisory Learning Solutions Programs;
• Setup each classroom in the appropriate configuration, supplies, and course materials (Coordinating with site contract, if applicable); Package course materials for each participant on the roster; Duplicate and collate student materials as needed; Pick up roster, evaluations and name tents and deliver them to the classrooms; Return the classroom to order and recycle materials for next course;
• Respond to student inquiries in a timely manner and follow-up with the Government Lead Instructor or Program Manager;
• Implement a blended learning environment for Leadership and Supervisory Learning Solutions Program to ensure students are able to learn in part through online delivery of content;
• Perform other duties as required to assure successful completion of the course.
Overall Assignment Description:
Instructor/Facilitator to support the Leadership and Supervisory Learning Solutions Program. Experienced instructor required to perform the duties listed below. Please note that travel to all NGA locations to include Extended Learning Sites (ELS) is required to instruct Supervisory, Leadership, and Professional Development Training.
Duties include:
• Develop and maintain and curriculum for the Leadership and Supervisory Learning Solutions Program;
• Provide support for the implementation of training;

• Maintain frequent and relevant communication with supervisors throughout the agency; Conduct on-line web-based supervisory courses and conduct training through Blackboard
• Support the on-going improvement of the Supervisory, Leadership, and Professional Development Program by conducting lessons learned with adjunct instructors, and updating training materials monthly;
• Respond to student inquiries in a timely manner and follow-up with the Government Lead Instructor or Program Manager;
• Other duties as required to assure successful completion of the course
• Expected to travel on weekends and holiday to meet class schedule. Travel required (prior to commencement) to support mission task. Travel includes OCONUS, (Germany and Hawaii, United Kingdom, and Australia)
